Dan Young from the Power Association is planning a bus trip to the Blue Mountain tractor and engine show in Bangor, PA. There is great food and it's only a 2 1/2 hr drive. And better yet, you don't have to do anything but relax and enjoy. The date is Sunday, Oct. 22nd. We will be taking Hampton Jitney and the bus holds 51 people. There will be pickup at approx. 5 a.m. at our barn on Sound Ave., and then another at exit 49 park and ride off the LIE for the "up island" members. We will spend the day and plan on leaving around 2 pm. The cost will be $35 per person. THIS IS A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. If you would like to go, please call or text Dan Young at 631-965-7789. The bus has a bathroom on board, a DVD player and wifi.
You do not need to be a member to go. So if you're interested and have a friend or two that would like to go, that's fine too. We need to make final plans with the Jitney as soon as possible, so if you are interested, please let us know.
