Here’s wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. We have a couple of events following turkey day.
First, Friday the 26th is the Southold Historical Society Candlelight Tour from 3-6. The SHS is located on Main Road in Southold right across from the Southold fire department. There is room for hit and miss engines and some tractors. Santa will be there for photos with the kids. It’s always a cold evening so dress warm. You can also tour all the buildings. It’s fun to see how things used to be. At 5 pm they do a tree lighting countdown. to light the tree. For more information contact me at 631-404-2708.
Then on Saturday the 27th is the Patchogue parade. We meet at the parking lot on the corner of Taylor and Academy Streets for setup at 3 pm. Lineup is at 5 pm. For more information contact Joe Venth at 631-816-1308.
