Come on out and help raise some money for a very good cause. We are having our Ride for a Cause this year on Sunday, April 25th. Rain date is the following Sunday, May 2nd. We start meeting at 7 a.m. on the grounds. We usually leave around 8 a.m. So come early. The ride goes down historic Sound Avenue to Cox Lane where we head north to return home. There will be a light breakfast upon your return.
This year it was decided to collect donations for Michelle Miller. She is Brad Yeager’s girlfriend. One of our own. Michelle developed Ewing’s Sarcoma and in presently undergoing extensive chemo treatments.
The donation to participate is $20, however in order to truly succeed in our fundraising efforts, we are asking that each of you go beyond contributing the participation donation. We are asking each of you to help us in our fundraising efforts by reaching out to people you know: family, friends, and local businesses, to see if they would consider helping us help Michelle and her daughter. Remember to tell everyone that their donations are 100% tax deductible as we are a not-for-profit organization (501C3).
If you do not have a tractor and want to participate, we have a wagon that goes with us. Make sure you dress warm.
